Have you ever seen a shamrock plant ? I bought one 3 years ago. I never transplanted it to a bigger pot. It has been dutifully flowering with the most beautiful delicate flowers. Apparently, the name Shamrock is derived from Celtic word for Clover - more information here . The underside of the leaves is a pretty purple . At nights, the flowers bow their heads and the leaves close up as they settle for the night. I find this plant truly magical.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
